The VE Street Party was an undoubted success.
Echo stuff that's been said already.
To have missed it would have been a real shame.
The venue with its authentic decor, bunting, etc, was just wonderful.
The 1945 food was fantastic. No rationing in the Towy Valley!
And I just love the way people appear from all directions to help set, then - slightly worst for wear - to clear up.
At lunchtime Saturday there was no evidence that anything out of the ordinary was about to take place.
By 11am Sunday morning, everything was back to normal.
Great community to live in.
I feel privilaged to be a part of it.

Friends of David and Tove Bevan, late of Dinas Bach, might want to watch out for them in the area as they are over from USA on holiday.
