RULES:

1. The staging of all exhibits will commence at 10.00am and will definitely close at 12noon when judging will begin.

2. No persons other than judges, stewards and their assistants will be allowed to enter the horticulture show marquee until the adjudication has finished.

3. All specimens exhibited must have been in the possession of the exhibitor for at least one month before the day of the show. All fruit, flowers and vegetables to be bona fida grown and owned by the exhibitor. All craft items must be the exhibitor's own work.

4. The Marquee Show will close at 5.00pm and exhibit and prize cards must not be removed before that time or the exhibitor's prize money will be forfeited. This rule will be strictly enforced. If any prizes are unclaimed they may be collected from the Secretary.

5. Careful arrangements for the protection of the exhibits will be made but the committee will not be held responsible in any way for loss or damage. Exhibits may be moved by the staging stewards to improve the general effect.

6. The judge's decision on the standard of any exhibit is final and the judge has the right to withhold any award not worthy of merit. The committee has the right to enquire into the source of supply of any exhibit.

7. Should the award of any prize be objected to, a written statement of such objectionand a deposit of £10.00 must be lodged with the secretary before 4.00pm on the day of the show. Should any objection not be sustained, the deposit will be forfeited.

8. Anything not covered by the above rulings will be dealt with by a special committeewhose decision will be final.

9. In the event of a tie, the competitors will toss a coin to decide the winner.

10. The committee will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or accident that any exhibitor or competitor may sustain.

11. prize money for all class and section winners will be paid on the day of the show.

12. All challenge cups and trophies must be returned to the show committee one month prior to the next show day.

13. Admission returned if your entries total more than £4, see secretary in the Marquee

7.00 amSheepdog Trials commence

All day - Vintage display

All day - Stalls, (play your cards right, water or wine, fishing for ducks, cake stall etc…..)

10.00 amStaging of marquee exhibits commences

10.00 amIn-hand Horse & Pony section starts

12.00 noon Marquee judging begins

12.30 pm approx Companion dog show begins – to be followed immediately by Hound, Sheepdog and Terrier Show

12.30 pm Parade of Towy & Cothi Hunt Hounds in main ring

1.00 pmRidden Horse & Pony Section

2.00pmArchery.

2.00pmRaku display

2.00 pmChildren’s Sports

2.30 pmMarquee show opens

3.30 pmTerrier racing

4.30 pmDuck Race

4.30 pmQuoits

DONATIONS TO CHARITY

The Rhandirmwyn Show and Sheep Dog Trials Committee are pleased to announce they donated £200 to the Ty Hafan Charitable Trust from the proceeds of the 2009 show.

The Rhandirmwyn Show and Sheep Dog Trials Committee wishes to thank all exhibitors, subscribers and the general public for their loyal support in the past, and extends a hearty welcome to all who attend this years event. A special thank you is extended to all those who donate cups and special show awards. A special thank you also goes out to all those people who get up early to set-up the show, and who stay on to clear up long after we’ve all gone home.
