The Logging Truck

Well the scariest thing you'll ever meet

On an old twisted country road

Is a great big logging truck with a

Long, tilted, heavy load.

Don't blink an eye or heave a sigh

Just wave to the friendly guy.

He's the on the road - look out - logging truck.

Heading out in the morning with his

Wheels up in a piggy-back

Half the size of what he'll be

Except for when he's headed back.

He likes to make one trip over from

His count of yesterday.

He's the on the road - look out - logging truck.

Well the giant in our economy

Is our Welsh forest industry.

Keepin' the logs a-rollin'

He's the first sign of recovery.

So he's movin' fast hopin' times will last,

He's passin' you and me,

He's the on the road - look out - logging truck.
